Champion Language and Culture: Prioritize storybooks in Hiligaynon and Filipino alongside English titles, echoing Iloilo children’s positive engagement when reading in familiar languages and culturally relevant themes.
Grow a Reading Habit: Support community read-alouds, mobile mini-libraries, and book rotation programs inspired by initiatives in Iloilo that encouraged consistent reading time and family participation.
Equip Teachers and Schools: Provide starter library sets, basic cataloging guides, and durable storage so educators in Iloilo can sustain lending systems and integrate books into daily lessons.
